Still something else

I was just golfing last week. Tooked a couple of practice rounds and on Saturday I had a competition, where I golfed quite well. I did a 31 (par 36) points during the round with a couple of birdies. Best hole was nr. 9, where I opened with my driver about 310m. So it left me like 60m shot to the green. After the shot it leaved me like 3m put to the hole, and I did it :).

Lets C witch point back to the archery, not yet.

Something else

Golfing ;). I was playing a round (9 holes) of golf today. In Overijse Golf Club. They have only 9 holes there, but very nice field. Score +4 over the par (36). I was supriced how well it went after like two years of no golf at all. Yeasterday I was in range, but stil that result is very good.
It looks like its gonna rain rest of the week, so maybe next round next week.
But I had big fun :)... and the Burger and the frites were also nice in the club, and glass of white wine..

Very nice weekend in Esch. The shooting was very good and the weather was also nice. Now the shooting was mutch better when I consendrated to the pressure point in my left hand, that it's the same in every shot. Only one very bad target during the two day, first day 50m level. Just couldn't get the arrows even inside the 4, 3,3,2 there :(. And also too many targets that I start with a 6,6 or 6,5 and then I shoot like a 3 or 4. And those targets are in a short range..
But very happy to weekends results. Now the field season is over.

I think that I founded atleast one fault that I have done wrong, or haven't think of it during the shooting. My left hands pressure to the handel hasn't been the same in every shot. So the pressure has been changed like up and down, left and right... Today I concendrated to it, and the shooting was better. Even the 20m were very good :).
Now it's little easier to go to Esch ;)

So, shooting again after the week in France :).
And I didn't find anything wrong in the bow or the man?!? I shot the 20m to the 60cm target, and all the 10 arrows were in yellow and only one of those in 9. So it looks like the bow or the man just doesn't work in the hot hot hot weather. Why? Maybe I have to take a another trip to some hot hot hot place and start testing that. Lets hope that next year in Hungary, the weather is little less :).

Team Finals

It was a very fun experience :). We were almost like a winners, as U can see in THIS picture :).

In warming place we had a 40cm targets in 20m. So the same thing continued than in the elimination day, just couldn't hit the yellow?!? I don't know what is the reason, but I changed the arrowrest again, like in almost every competitions. Maybe I have to start to think to change it. But atleast it helped in all other distance than the 20m, witch was still bad in the team finals.

Now the season is almost over. Next weekend I'm gonna go to 5Nations in Esch (Luxenbourg), atleast for a one day. Just see my archery friends and thank them from the support, that I have had in this season. So it will be a fun shooting :)))

No final place

The first final track there was lots of up and down hills. I haven't practiced those in three month, so I had to quess the marks, and usually I started with 3. So it was really hard. I try to kick my self, but the normal score was like 5,4,3 or 6,5,2 or so :(. One down hill shot, my string hit my pants, low one. And at the last target, I just couln't hit the targer, even I was fighting to the end. 4,4,2 there :(. Just have to do more fysic training. Only the shooting is not enough..

But the last to BIG competitions has been very hot and tuff. So I'm more than happy that I got the Silver medal at the WORLD GAMES :).
