6 + 60 + 18

I went to the klub to shoot 18m competition, like we have in 15.2. It's 6 warming arrows and after those starts the competition. So, I have to use to that, that there is no 45min warming up shooting, like in finland we have. I think that the 6 arrows is not enough, but I just have to use to it. Maybe before the competition I'm gonna shoot some arrows at home, to warm up. Well, maybe it's not so nessessery, I shot 557 after the 6 warming up arrows. Still there was 8 8's, some of those were very bag shooting. But I have next week time to practice ;).
And those 18 arrows, I just shot two times nine arrows to 60cm target..

Yesterday

I had made a new string during the week, so I just went to test it. It worked like the other one I have, so now I have two similar strings. Most of the time I'm shooting 18m to the 60cm 10 face target. It don't give so mutch pressure to hit the yellow. And also it's more relaxing, don't have to shoot 100% all the time. I shot 203 arrows..

Shooting on Friday

I went to the klub to shoot, but I wasn't on the mood to shoot. So I started to service my stuff. First I checked the arrows. There was couple knocks, feathers and one point missing. Just fixed those, but I left two arrows whitout feathers, just test the bow. Then I checked that the bow was in tune, that was fine. I only shooted like 60 arrows.
Again till Thursday I have to be with Emil at home. He's sick again :(. Just pulling the bow at home and evenings I will go to play volleyball.

Emil

Emil wanted the head to be Emil :).
But, today i went to the klub to shoot, but I wasn't not so interested to shoot.
So I fixed my arrows first. Put some feathers and some knocks and points.
After that I checked my strings. I have to by some string (FF) to make the knocking
points to other strings (3 of them). One of them had the knocking point little up.
I tryed that and the arrows went to up clock one. Also the sring had the knocking point made of
tape. The "real" one had the metal ring and some plastic tape. No wonder that the hits were up.

So next week to shop, or visit my friend Urmas. I think that he has some string, to make some knocking point :)

Volleyball

Now my son Emil is sick and home, so no time to go shooting. Just playing volleyball on the evenings, but that's enough for now. Next competition 15.2, the barebow WC-competition.

No shooting

Just taking easy, after the weekends competition. Next week some tuning and shooting..
