Final day

I was so nervous in the first tree tarkets, my hand was shaking like hell. I had chance to be in lead in every target, but i had to leave it to the last target. It was a 25m/40cm uphill. I just disided, that this is my best target, and that I can shoot it very good. Even it didin't work in the second day. But I changed my string to the final day, and it worked like hell :) So the Italian started with 4, I was like that now I have a chance, I put there 5 or 6, didn't look, cause it was in yellow. Then Italian put another 4, so i disided to shoot even better, so 6. He shot again 4, and I knew that 4 is enough, so when i saw the yellow, I led it go, and it was a 5 :).

I wasn't so nervous in the last 4 target, cause the medal was sure and I got use to the groud. In the last target we were even with Giuseppe, he shot very nice 5,5,5 and I wasn't able to put even four in the. But I'm more than happy to my SILVER medal.

It has been a very tuff, wet and hot week.

Official practice

It's HOT HOT HOT.. and have to drink, drink, drink and drink more. The temperature is like 33 and the sun doesnt even shine. But all the marks are okey, and I'm fealing ready.. The field looks like very flat, what we have seen. There not gonna be lots of up and downs. So the scores will be very high..

Hotel

Now at the hotel, very nice. And mutch better connection than in the acreditation center.

But everynbody(me, Haije, Marko and Anns) are here, and all the luggages also. Tomorrow to the Archery range to shoot.

70 + 32

I woke up at 5.30 this morning to shoot. Its like 10am in Taiwan, so I try to be in the same time than there allready. So maybe it helps to the jet-lag. Tomorrow also up at 5 :). Then at 11 nose heading to Tampere, Tikkurila, Helsinki-Vantaa (airport), Amsterdam, Hongkong, Kaohsiung.
Takes like 32h or so...

Flu

And now the summer flu tryes to get me... Maybe few hot-rhums helps :). Have to try at the evening.. Have to shoot before that, to test all spare things, tabs, string and so... No spere limbs, but if they brake they brake. Hope not. Lets how I feel tomorrow...

Night off

Not shooting today.. I have had some butterflyes in my stomac, that's a good sign :). But on sunday starts the trip to Kaohsiung :)... Can't wait ;)

Morning training

Veeery good, tested the bow, and after that shot all the distancies. All in yellow, if I just remember all the shooting rutines. Feets, hip, left arm and so. I got mutch confidense of that.
Also I heard, that I'm now number 1 in the Field Archery Ranking ;))))

Brake

I have shot like 60 arrows during the last two days.. The weather has been bad, and I have had something else to do. But It's also good to take some brake and think something else time to time. Gonna shoot some arrows today :)

Hood Field

Score 334, so almost the score that I ordered :).
But I'm happy to that. The field was very long, and only one target was in level. Others were in nice up and down hills. Lots of pictures in Timo's page www.timorantanen.com :).
Couple special targets, one 49/53m 80cm, one 28m/40cm (thats too long for Barebow), I shot the 15points. And one 9m bunny. Plus there was all long distancies, 50m/80cm, and so..
I'm in the right way to World Games... Just couple easy weeks practice and that's it ;)..

Work accident

I was pealing a electronic cable up in the ladders like in 5 meter, and I cut my left thumb.
Doesn't effect to the shooting, thank god ;).

Today like 130 arrows. No measuring tape, just "guessing" the distance and then 3 arrow. Looking very nice. Can't wait for the Sundays competition. The field is gonna be tuff, so I would be happy to score like 340, then it would be easy to go to World Games.

Tomorrow I will visit the Helsinki with Dirk and Xander, we are gonna go to Suomenlinna and some other tourist places there. Can't wait.

Monday

I shot all the distancies and everything looks great. Lets see on Sunday, how it goes in the competition. Goal is over 340, then the road has been right, and don't have to panic, what to do before World Games.
